Use abrupt pressure for the front brake to prevent locking the front tire.
Use both the front and rear brake. Squeeze the lever for the front brake gradually to prevent the front tire from locking.
It doesn’t matter which brake you use, but you should only use one brake.
Only use the rear brake.
